“I read the article about Salome. That’s a fascinating read. I can’t believe I never gave Salome a second thought in all the times I’d read those passages, which is horrible because she clearly played such a key role not only in the life of her sons but extending to all humanity! I love how Stephanie talked about the risks she took for her faith, especially in that time period and culture as a woman, and the lasting effect of a mother whose actions probably seemed insignificant at the time—and how significant she was! Stephanie’s work on this (along with all of her efforts on these articles) reminds me of Jabez, who was glossed over by many until somebody like Stephanie took the time to write about them (I’m thinking The Prayer of Jabez).”
